Large Thimble Collection
Being offered for sale is a lovingly collected and cared for thimble collection consisting of 244 thimbles containing Thimble Guild, Stoke-on-Trent, Birchcroft, Fenton, Bronte, Caverswell, Derby, and many other known names. Apart from one with a small chip on the rim, this is a lovely condition that has taken years to put together. There are 2 glass, 2 wood, and 1 metal...the rest are china/porcelain.
There are several categories: 93 Places, 62 Flowers, 48 People/Landscapes, 28 Adverts, Christmas, Animals, Butterflies, Birds and many more. It's a wonderful lot and would greatly enhance any collection or be a grand way to start.
