We at Kkpets are small animal breeders based in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire and have been breeding purebred dumbo rats for over 3 years. We have sold our rats to many places across the UK and are well known breeders.

We breed extremely tame and friendly, healthy rat kittens. All are handled from the day they are born, right up until the time they are sold, and while they are with us they are socialised with people of all ages, other rats, loud noises, cats and dogs, to get them used to everything they could come across when they leave us. They come in many colours with both rex and straight coats, and are £15 each or £25 per pair, due to time put into ensuring they make brilliant pets and don't bite, unlike most pet shop rats.

With each rat we offer free advice whenever you need it, and they come with a homing booklet that will guide you through the first few days of owning your rattie.

All our animals are pets first, and we only allow each doe to have up to 2 litters in her lifetime. We ensure both the parents are fit and healthy before breeding, and that the mum has a good few months of rest before we breed her again. Both parents can be seen upon request.

If you would like to book a time to come and choose the one/ones you want please e-mail, text or call me and let me know. Also, if you would like photos first please tell us and we will get them sent to your personal e-mail address. We have a reserve list, so if at any time we do not have any rats available for sale, just ask to be put on the list and we will get in touch with you as soon as we have a new litter. A non-refundable deposit of £5 is required per rat if you wish to do this.

We now offer holiday care at our own home for all small animals at the rate of just £2.50 per day. Just get in contact with us and let us know when we are needed. All we ask is that you bring your rat in it's own cage to our home, and we provide everything else and take your animal out daily.
