Description
We are currently taking reservations for a stunning litter of Dumbo rat kittens, due early december. We would expect these lovely babies to be powder blue selfs,Blue point siamese and Blue roans (husky). Rex and smooth coats available with a possibility of patch work coats also. Starilight Rattery works along side Twilight Rattery and we are situated in Basingstoke,Hampshire. We are breeding towards British blue and related colours prodominantly selfs but siamese and roans are often available. Our home bred babies are reared as part of the family and are used to the hussle and bussle of family life including young children and other pets. Each litter is carefully planned with many babies reserved before birth but we do hold an open waiting list. Our babies are known for their silly tame licky natures and we only ever breed rats of sound health and temperment. Our bucks are allowed to mature prior to being considered for breeding and our does are bred around 7 months of age once they have gained maturity both mentally and phyically. Our does have one and on occassions if the need arises a second and last litter. Our aim is to provide happy,healthy and well adjusted babies for pet homes. Although we often have kittens that are typy enough to be shown we put the health and temperment before colour. Our rats live in single sex groups in large cages and live as part of the family. The rats are fed a balanced diet and are bedded on a dust free substrate. We also litter train our rats making them the most suitable pets for any age group. We only home kits in single sexed pairs and if we have an odd number then trio's. Rats are highly social as well as intelligent and never do well as a single pet. The welfare of our rats come first.
