For Sale
VW Campervan T25 Hightop
Owing to a pending move to Australia, our beloved campervan is now up for sale. He?ll be missed, and has been a loved member of the family for the last couple of years.
The interior is spotless, and the exterior is in good nick for his age with some minor rust and one little dent on the drivers door (hand sized) courtesy of someone dinging him in our street and not leaving a note.
He?s been faithfully maintained by us and his previous owners, and we've got plenty of his past MOTs and some receipts etc too. His details ?
Doogie: * Year: 1989 * MOT ? May 2010. * Model: Professional Autohomes conversion, VW Transporter High-top (T-25) * Engine: 1.9lt unleaded - 99,000miles. Runs like clockwork, regularly serviced, has never missed a beat. * Fuel consumption: approx. 10lt/100km or 25miles/gallon. He does 300miles on a 50lt tank. Cruises easily at 70mph on the highway. * Gearbox: 4 speed manual * Tyres: All in good condition. 2 new last year, 2 new the year before. Maybe 10,000miles? * Exhaust replaced about 1 year ago * New starter motor * Heavy duty car battery and leisure battery - runs for days without driving/hookup * Stereo: 4 speaker Kenwood with CD player, iPod hook up, usb hookup, MP3 player hookup, and CD stacker ready. The stereo can also be turned on/off from bed which is a nice touch * Seats: 4 with seat belts. The front passenger seat is a swivel seat. The rear seat is a rock'n'roll bed which was recovered about two years ago * The Kitchen: he has 3 gas hobs and a grill; 3 way fridge (12V / mains supply / gas) with small freezer; sink with tap and foot pump; drainage/drying sink; 50lt drinking water tank under rear seat which works via the pump and tap; kitchen stuff - plates, bowls, pots etc. There is heaps of bench space with all the sink etc under hinged benches, and a massive amount of storage space. He's got a hidden wine rack too - very cool! * The bed: Rock'n'roll style fold out bed. I'm six foot and sleep like a baby on it * Storage: More than you can poke a stick at. The high-top has cupboards throughout except of course the middle section which I can stand up in with no problem. There is just heaps of storage. We didn't even fill it for a two month trip which we took bikes and hiking gear on as well as all the other necessities. * He's got a fully carpeted interior and full curtains * Interior gas air-heater * Sky light * Fiamma bike rack * Multiple interior lights for cooking / reading etc * Plenty of extras for touring the UK and abroad ? hookup cables, adaptors, chairs ? * I've probably forgotten some things too... * Photo attached ? More available on request.
