ANTIQUE Rare, 8 DAY SWISS GOLIATH POCKET WATCH made 1890-1900, Also has a silver travel case made of wood and silver mounted, The watch has just been cleaned and oiled,now in first class condition is Glass,Dial,original hands, Nickel silver body, no dents or damage.No wearage on winder,This early model has a pin set change. Its impossible to detach winding crown,by pulling to hard like many watches, that generally happened in models in 1930s onwards and was a major job to replace.This also has a coiled overhead hairspring, found only used in top class pocket watches, Has full set of jewels and compensated balance wheel making it very effecient Pocket Watch,
The carry case is wooden with hallmarked silver mount, silversmith is William Hull of Chester.
