We are very sorry to be selling this lovely caravan but owning a 1973 GT beetle as well we have decided to combine and buy a camper van.

The damp free Buccaneer has a quality wooden interior with lots of storage space and retro features. This caravan was top of the range when purchased and this can been seen in its great condition today. The build quality and charm of this caravan we believe is much greater than modern vans, (there is definitely a lot less plastic).

This caravan is fairly light with a unladen weight of 850 kgs. The caravan towed very nicely with our Subaru Legacy Estate comfortably doing the 50 mph speed limit. It is light enough to be pushed into place by ourselves.

It is a two berth, either two singles or one comfortable double, converted from a lounge area with table space for 4 people. Black out blinds and fly screens newly fitted on the two side window. It has a fully functional gas heater (carver trumatic SLP3002) and it is toasty in the winter so can be used all year round.

The end kitchen has a sink with hot and cold water (provided by Carver Cascade gas water heater), 2 ring burner, grill, oven (Flavel Vanessa Oven) (which can cook a pasty lid completely evenly) and an extractor fan over the hob. Kitchen cupboard pulls down to form a useful worktop area. There is a 3 way fridge (Electrolux RM212), meaning that it can be used without a hook up.

A particular favorite of ours is the lockable drink cabinet set into the cupboard keeping those beers at the perfect temperature.

Bathroom with porta potti, wash basin, hot and cold water with shower attachment and an area to use the shower with shower curtain. Sky light and whited out window.

Electrics: 12 and 240 volt electrics with plenty of 240 volst sockets. 12 volt Shur Flo water pump. Controlled through a Zig C.F.9 Caravan Battery Charing and Distribution System.

ALSO INCLUDED: A Step, large awning (with curtains), Alko hitchlock and two 7kg Calor Gas bottle (one full, one about half full). The jockey wheel was replaced in early 2008 and there are original instructions for all appliances.

Bar the water pump which doesn?t automatically turn off (this can be turned off easily manually) and a one ring of the 2 ring gas burn being slightly melted all the appliances are in perfect working order.
