Description
my dads elderly dog had to be put to sleep a couple of weeks ago and he is finding the house very lonely now its just him and the cat. we would like to find a retired greyhound or a lurcher type dog for him, preferably house trained and cat friendly. also i know its cheeky but free or very cheap would also be great as its me and my sister getting it for him and with xmas and the credit crunch money is sparse! we would prefer not to get him a pup or a dog thats too young as he is a pensioner and a puppy would just be too much. he has owned greyhounds and lurchers for most of his life and so knows what to expect with them but as i said, cat friendly is a must as he has an elderly moggy.
