Description

You have found an immaculate looking sparkling, Jaguar XJ8 4.0. But its high milage so the tennsioners and timing chains might go right? That could set you back a small fortune.

Sadly (for me) one of the timing chains snapped on the M11 and took two valves and tensioners with it. Had it recovered (not by AA, by professional Jag recovery service) and delivered to Les Pauls Jaguar (full documentation) and spent nearly £2,000 on having everything lovingly restored by them (they are in the J.E.C, highly acclaimed Jag garage). Engine purrs like a kitten and drives like new, it was well worth the money. So, although there is 145k on the clock, all the main and expensive things have been done, and done properly.

This 2001 Jag is truly stunning. ItÂ’s Pacific Blue with immaculate cream leather and walnut dash. This car is fully-loaded with a complete Jaguar inbuilt Satellite Navigation System, inbuilt hands-free and base set Jaguar telephone system, full electric seat heating and position (driver and passenger) and steering wheel position, with fully heated front and rear windscreens with completely electronic, automatic retractable electric wing mirrors. The car also comes with integrated cruise control, sports mode, reverse parking sensors and a 6-Disc Alpine in-car audio system. This is the LWB version with vast amounts of luxury legroom in the back.

I urge you to come and see and drive the car. It has a full MOT and Tax until 2010. I truly love this car but after spending £2k getting it restored with Jag, I must sell it.

The car is available for viewings in Chigwell, Ilford, Essex. Please call me to arrange a viewing. Please please please no timewasters or dreamers, come and see the car with pleasure, if you want to buy it.

Please note that the CD for the Sat Nav system is very temperamental and even when it does work is from 2001 and very out of date. It really is more of a classic gimmick. You would be far better off with your TomTom. I am sure you can buy/download a new CD for it if you really wanted to though??

Oh, an ABS sensor has given up which shows up as a warning light. Same Jag garage (which are very very good) quoted me £150 + VAT for a fix. Havnt done it as have spent enough on the car and it doesnt affect any part of the driving or instruments of the car.

Just e-mail me if you have any questions about anything!

Thanks
