14hh Bay Mare for sale
Beautiful bay mare, looking for new home, with an experienced teenager wanting to have fun. Jem is a 14h Irish Cob mare, at 7 she is a typical mare. Only for sale as no one has invented a growth serume for ponies. Massive heart who always wants to please, but will only give you what you ask for. She will set herself to the riders ability, she has accepted a non rider friend carrying quietly around the indoor, with other horses cantering past her. A nervous mum who can ride, and an excitable jumping teenager. I would say she is not a novice hack. The only reason for this is Jem can sometimes nap when on her own (no problems in company) and requires a confident rider to tell her to get on with it, and then she is fine. She loves to jump clearing 1m/ 1.5m with ease, including spreads and courses. Jem has attended the pony club shows and Greenways at the beginning of the season, winning lots of ribbons, turning her hoof to anything. However due to no trailer did not do a great deal of shows. With her previous owner she attended all pc and greenway shows and camps. She loads into a trailer easily. Her worming and injections are all up to date, and she has had her teeth checked. I can not praise this pony enough, Jem was our entrance into the horse owning world and she has taught us so much, she is a very special girl. But please she is a typical mare and will see what she can get away with, so if you are nervous or a lack confidence around horses she is not for you. Jem is stabled at Seaview riding school and has been there since she was broken by her previous owner Stacey Magee. £2600, including rugs and bridle, saddle available separately.
