I am looking for a first pony for my daughters aged 7 and 10yrs. My 7 year old has just started riding (and is still on lead rein) and my 10 year old has been riding for a year and is cantering and jumping off lead rein but needs to improve confidence. Therefore I am looking for a true first pony not a 4 year old that has potential to make a great childs pony! I am looking for a been there, done it, not phased by it pony must be 110% bombproof good to catch, box and shoe, Traffic etc...Must love being groomed and fussed over! Must be sound as will be vetted, Colour/sex unimportant. Kick alongs are fine but anything that can be strong or bolshy isn't! Ideally the pony should be min of 10yrs (or very, very close) upto 15/16yrs. My daughters don't have the experience yet to do any youngster justice, and I am a great believer in green + green = black and blue! Therefore please only contact me if you have anything that meets my requirements! An experienced and loving home awaits, Grazing and stabling are not a problem, transport maybe therefore looking for something local (Derbyshire) will also consider borders of Staffs or Notts. Sensible price please we are not looking for a HOYS prospect! I am looking to spend upto £850 maybe alittle more if it comes with full wardrobe and for right pony.
