this guitar was bought for me as a present in early 2000 im not quite sure of the age of the guitar but it is a squier by fender standard series and has a very fender looking squier logo it isnt like a normal squier logo which are all black this is a squier stratocaster logo in gold and black like on the mexican strats, all the electrics i believe were installed before fender opned a seperate factory for building their fender brand guitars, so i believe it is all american pickups and wiring in the strat. it is an absolutelly beutifull metallic sparkling purple colour i have never seen one the same, THIS IS NOT A RE-SPRAY, original paint work. so if you want a bargain grab it quick. i love all my guitars but i have too many to handle all at once allthough i will miss this beuty it will make a lovely christmas present for someone ..........thank you
