Is the Preloved Affiliate Program Free?

Yes, there is no charge to join the program.

Who are AffiliateFuture?

How much can I earn?

We pay 10p every time a visitor places a classified advert on Preloved as a result of your referral.

We also pay 20% every time a visitor becomes either a Full or Premium member to Preloved as a result of your referal. Full membership is £5 resulting in a commission of £1.00. Premium membership is £25, resulting in a commission of £5

How much do visitors have to pay to place a classified advert?

Adverts from private individuals are completely free. Therefore, you earn commission without your visitors having to spend a penny.

Why do visitors become Full members of Preloved?

Visitors frequently become full members of Preloved. Full membership enables visitors to view the very latest classified adverts on Preloved, ie. those posted within the last 10 days. This means our full members get access to all the best bargains. As you will be showing the latest adverts on your web site, most of these will require full membership before the visitor can contact the advertiser and buy the item.

Why do visitors become Premium members of Preloved?

Premium membership gives all the benefits of full membership (see above). Also, it gives people an enhanced advertising package, with their adverts being given a distinctive border and a photo on the listings page. Premium member adverts also stay at the top of the list for longer meaning they are viewed on average twice as often as a normal advert.

What are your most popular categories?

Our most popular categories are motoring, caravanning, computing and pets. We are also seeing rapid growth in our boating, cycling and property areas.

How does tracking work with your configurator?

During the first step of creating your content feed using our configurator, you will enter your AffiliateFuture affiliate number. This will ensure that when our system delivers adverts to your visitors, all links contain the correct AffiliateFuture tracking codes so that your leads and sales can be tracked correctly.

What are your criteria for approving sites as affiliates?

As all our advertising is based around the UK, we only accept affiliate sites that are intended for a UK audience and that have predominately UK traffic.

Do you allow 'Cashback' sites to become affiliates?

We do allow cashback sites (sites that pass on a percentage of the affiliate commission that they earn to their members). However, we reserve the right to withhold commissions for visitors that in our opinion are submitting adverts with the sole intention of earning cashback credits.

What is your policy on PPC bidding (pay per click)?

We do not allow bidding on the Preloved brand name nor any variations or misspellings. This includes the terms 'Preloved', 'Pre-loved', 'Pre loved', 'preloved.co.uk', 'preloved.com' and other such variations. We also do not allow bidding on the brand names of our competitors.
