On your surf the rear tyre pressures would be slighty more than normal [about 10psi] Depends on what size tyre that is fitted if your surf is a new import it might have the tyres that it had from japan which are not EU coded but if you look on the tyre wall it will say max psi i would run it at bout 40 psi when towing [that what i put in my Nissan Patrol ] Tip`s on towing There are a few if you have never done it ! Make sure that the conections like the electric`s to rear lights on caravan work ! When driving get mirrors so you can see whats comming up behind you over the width of the caravan Take corners wider On motorways when you brake watchout the the caravan does NOT snake <-this is scarey and bloody dangerous So brake gently There are a lot more tips out there [anyone reading this will say some more ] I drive a recovery truck for a living and its a spec so i have a lot behind me and the members that own the vehicle i have on the back But at the end of the day you have to be SAFE so if your thinking that then your be ok Martin
