Preview of the first image of Pair of late 1800's miniature water colours by Constance Lee.

Advert Description

Both of these water colours measure 8" x 5" , but are mounted in gilded period frames which are 14" x 11".
The first one depicts a village green with two young women having a picnic, one of them holding a baby, while in the background is a large church with a steeple and other buildings in good detail.
The second is quite a dour scene showing a large stone built house with a gate house to its right, and sat along side the perimeter wall of the house is a study of a collie or similar dog,This painting has had some slight water or dampness problem in its history but it still is an interesting water colour.
Both are signed and dated by the artist, Constance Lee.
