Wooden Single Bed base with storage under.
This is basically a timber box construction with a removable top, provding storage under. The base is 6' 3" long by 3'0" wide by 12" high. The top / lid (chipboard) is supported across its width on 3 timber frames and on the top edges of the sides of the base which are constructed of white faced chipboard..
The picture shows two "tops" on one base but each base only needs one top. The "top" can be lifted up to store things under, The "top" is quite heavy though, so take care! It is currently in one piece but could be cut into 3 sections so each would be much lighter.
I have more than one of these. Not sure if you need more than one. Some sides and / or tops are chipboard painted white and some sides have a melamine finish. Some have chipboard panels (top or sides) that have not been painted which I found OK if the side was to be place adjacent to a wall, but all could be painted by the buyer.
Two can be placed at rightangles against two side walls of a room and the 3' by 3' wide area formed between the heads of the beds can form another useful storage space or a type of bed-head/side area.
