The print itself measures 15 x 10.5 cms (excluding title and margins) and the frame is 27 x 23 cms. First published in Francis Grose's Antiquities of England and Wales, 1786. Inscriptions below the artwork read ?Published Sept 6th 1786 by S Hooper? and ?Engraved by Newton?. Good condition with good margins. On the back is a label and a stamp which indicates this was sold by Phil J Simmonds & Sons of Woodford Green, Essex and that ?This print is guaranteed to be an Original and over 100 years old.?
