Advert Description

Lovely 20 piece tea set, bone china by Colclough/Ridgway,
in Wild Rose pattern 8240, from mid 1950's to mid 1960's, (see back-stamp photo), comprising 6 tea cups, 6 saucers, 6 side plates, milk jug and sugar bowl.
Pale pink background, wild floribunda rose design, green leaves, gold trim, "scalloped" edges to cups.
It was my mother's and I recall it was only used a couple of times at most at Christmas and since then has remained wrapped carefully and stored away.
As far as I can see just one very very tiny chip on the edge of one tea cup that is hardly visible, and one tea cup is showing faint signs of crazing on very close inspection, for some reason, but other than that the set is in lovely condition and has been well looked after.
I can find very few examples of this particular design being advertised for sale, and those are mainly in the USA.
View and collect from Mickleover only, please.
