NOTE IN RELATION TO EMPLOYMENT LAW SETTLEMENT AGREEMENTS
Please contact us if you are an employee and have been presented with a settlement agreement to consider and sign.
You may be concerned that the amount of money being offered is not enough or that the offer has been made in response to a work related grievance which you have raised, or that you are currently at home on long term sickness absence or you are suspended following unjustified allegations being raised against yourself.
You may also be concerned that the wording of the Agreement is very one sided and this requires to be amended by an experienced lawyer.
You may also be worried about non-compete covenants which will restrict your ability to find a new job after the termination of your employment.
We are very experienced at representing employees in relation to these agreements, including amending their terms, and if required negotiating the compensation package and securing the waiver of post termination non compete covenants.
