I am selling my BEATLES John Lennon "Original Artists Proof" Sergeant Peppers Character Jug that was produced by Peggy Davies Ceramics and designed/modelled by Martin Thompson their top sculptor, as a one off!
The original range that was produced by Peggy Davies ceramics, feature the character jugs of the famous four in the Sergeant Peppers colourful outfit, and this set was produced in a limited edition of 200 worldwide.
This particular one was produced as a prototype by Peggy Davies with psychedelic colours, and John Lennon with a French horn instrument, and was not for sale. However, I managed to speak to one of the owners of Peggy Davies ceramics and they agreed to sell this to me.
This colourful character jug of John Lennon, has great detail and is in "as new" condition, and measures:
L 5 x W 3 x H 6 inches approx, and comes complete with the original blue box.
The base is marked in gold lettering (see photos):

The date of this piece is 2007, and is known to be the only one in this special colourway of an "Artists Original Proof" which makes it VERY RARE and exceptional.
