The Arch Hood with 3 eagle-ball finials , in Mahogany & box wood supported by ,2 reeded
Pillars with brass ends ,
the Glass Door has attractive mahogany pie shaped edging,
The very attractive Flame Mahogany Long Case has herring bone wood inlay & reeded side decoration, the door is box wood inlaid,
the base is inlaid as well ,& Has not been Cut lower due to damp rotting (which is quite common )
An 8 day brass 4x pillar movement ,striking on an iron bell (noisy )
This is a Very Hansom clock of good size with lovely flame pattern Mahogany body ,
These clocks are very temperamental in running ?? & have to be on a flat level base & set up with a spirit level to ensure the movement is level back/forwards /sideways
,this runs ! But the Hands are not in synchronisation with the movement ,needs attention ?? we use it as a decorative piece not running ,Noisy bell strike ??
There are Numerous other marble /slate clocks to be disposed of !!
