Mis Aligned Egg shaped £2 coin

I have for sale a very nice rare error £2 coin.

The coin has been produced with the inner metal core on the Queen's side melted into the outer ring. On the reverse side the gold outer ring has melted into the silver core to compensate for the silver melting out. This is known as an Egg Error Coin or misaligned melted core error.
It's more common to find this error on a bimetal one pound coin so to get one in a bimetal two pound coin is much rarer. Read more
