Measures 22 x 16 inches in vintage frame. Frame has old water stain but painting appears unaffected.
A truly fascinating and pioneering artist, she was the first Scottish woman to fly solo (1911), an amateur violinist of repute, winner of the ladies gold championship of India (1924), ladies doubles tennis champion of Malaysia (1924), and the founder president of the Woman's Section of the Edinburgh Society of Musicians (1927).
Elected to the Scottish Society of Artists (1945) she also served as President of the Scottish Society of Women Artists (1951-1958)
