I’m reluctantly selling my darling Barn Find 1973 Cream Super Beetle.
She has been lovingly restored; since buying her as a Barn (garage) find. I have had her restored; lots spent on her. Now back to good health and so I feel our time together is up and Ive also had the opportunity to buy another project, which Im totally in love with and sadly cant afford both! So here is her detail...
Recently restored. Chassis and body work in great condition. Chassis has been wax oiled. Car was resprayed before being put into storage. She has had the following done to bring her back to life: New brakes (drums and shoes) all round. New tyres all round. New rear wheel bearings. New cylinder heads. New clutch. New fuel tank. New fuel pump. New carpets. New heat exchanger and cables. Carburettor recently rebuilt. Recent full service. All panels are rust free and solid. Fuel gauge and heating both work! No stereo. MOT earlier this year but now MOT and Tax exempt. She has been used daily. New (rust free) chrome bumpers sold with her but currently not fitted (I took them off as prefer her look without them;0) Only downsides are 1 window seal (front outside one) has perished rubber. Lots spent getting her up and running. And all totally beautifully original with exception of the two front seats. For sale to fund a new project. Original mileage on the clock; just over 88k. Advertised elsewhere. . 5+ Owners, Part service history.
