The elegant sets were notable for their French Chateaux interior style with noticeable large pained French windows.
The garden scene was also notable for the use of plants and small trees with effective lighting.
The orchestral playing by the Royal Opera House orchestra conducted by John Elliot Gardner, was excellent, along with the singing with Christian Gerhaher as Figaro, Kangmin Justin Kim as Cheribino, Julia Kleiter as Countess Almaviva, Alisdair Elliott as Don Curzio, Diana Montague as Marcellina.
