1950’s The Union & Confederacy 1861-1865 (2) illustrated collector casebooks
Here for sale we have 2 illustrated books about the American Civil War including a 12”LP
excellent condition with each one.
First is the Union, Columbia Records number DL-244 published in 1958, with 60 pages of text and photographs, and a Columbia masterworks LP.
The Second album is the Confederacy, Columbia Album number 1103, published in 1964. It has 32 pages of text and photographs and a Columbia legacy LP. Size: 13 3/4" x 12 1/5"
Condition.
The albums are both in plastic covers and inserted at the end of the book and are in excellent condition
They have some water damage, which is reflected in the asking price.

Featuring the National Gallery Orchestra, conducted by Richard Bales; the Cantata Choir of the Lutheran Church of the Reformation, Mezzo-Soprano Florence Kopleff, Baritone Thomas Pyle, and Narrator Reverend Edmund Jennings Lee. Recorded at the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. includes an attached 32-page illustrated book about the Civil War, with essays by Bruce Catton, and Clifford Dowdey. Measures 14" x 12.5".
