Antique/Vintage Nautical Boat/Yacht Part

An Antique/Vintage Nautical Boat or Yacht part. I believe it may be a Rope Cleat.

The chrome is coming off in places, giving it some character & proving it has age. It isn't one of the usual modern reproductions you see around.

It looks to probably be made of solid brass underneath.

It's a great design to hang T towels on in the kitchen or even towels in the bathroom if you didn't want it for a boat.

It is stamped 9168

It's approx just under 8" wide & is quite heavy at 1.345kgs in weight.
