COMPACT has a square panel on the front. The powder compact is in excellent condition + comes with its original dust bag. Compact is a square shape. It also has 2 powder puffs signed ZENEtte MADE IN ENGLAND. It's made from solid brass, and the lid is faceted with a crosshatch pattern. Compact is signed ZENette on the inside powder guard.
The compact is in good vintage condition thanks to its dust bag, which is CLOTH material and is in excellent condition,+ has kept the compact itself pretty pristine.
Compact: 3 inches long, 3 inches wide x .375 inches height
Square, gold tone, engine turned case measuring 7.5cm square. Stylish compact with an inner lid and powder well measuring approximately 6.5cm square. The inner lid has the Zenette name engraved into it.
This lovely 1950s loose powder compact is gilt with an attractive engine turned, Art Deco geometric design. It is in excellent condition, barely used and well preserved. Inside it has a clear mirror that gives a perfect reflection. The ZENette branded inner lid opens easily when you slide the tiny catch to reveal a clean powder well. It comes with the original puff, felt pochette and homage box.
ZENette is an English brand name owned by C.H.Collins & Sons Ltd of Hockley Hill, Birmingham, England. The company was founded in 1910 and were listed as manufacturers of “Collar studs, sleeve links, ...powder boxes & compacts” at the British industries Fair of 1929. ZENette branded compacts were often highly stylized Art Deco designs. The Company was still operating in the 1960s.
