VINTAGE NORAH WELLINGS GLASS EYED DOLL CIRCA 1920's

The main body is made of velvet/velveteen.
The face is painted on but the eyes are glass eyes which makes the doll that much more collectible.
Stitched joints and all parts original including bow tie.. The neck joint at rear is delicate due to age and this is depicted in the photograph. This doll stands at approximately 8.5inches high and carries the original label on the right foot that shows it having been Made in England and a Norah Wellings original.
Any collector of these charming dolls each with their own personality would be only too well aware of Norah Wellings' history throughout her working life. This little fellow really has a charm and personality of his own and I would be delighted to know he would go to a home when someone would love and care for him as much as I have.
