Schooling/Sales/Competition/Breaking Livery Available at Greenhill Equestrian
Here at Greenhill we are very excited to be able to offer limited spaces of what we believe are truly unique services at our beautiful yard set in the heart of the glorious Shropshire country side.
At Greenhill we offer all of our horses the very best care, training and nutrition specifically tailored to each individual horse/pony and its owner. So NO horse/pony feels like just another number.
We are incredibly lucky at Greenhill to be able to offer a small yard feel on a big scale, although we have a large number of horses/ponies in our care, our yard is split into several small yards, which has an extremely positive and calming effect on all of our horses/ponies young and old.
Greenhill has amazing facilities for the production/ sales of horses/ponies inc ménage, miles of lovely hacking, over one hundred acres of fields to ride through as well as plenty of turnout and at Greenhill we are always planning for the future with our new barn of stables being built as you read! As well as many other big and exciting plans we have for the future.
The Team at Greenhill is incredibly diverse with many years of experience in the breaking, production, sales and competing of leisure and competition horses/ponies alike.
When breaking in our youngsters we always aim to create happy, confident and well rounded horses/ponies. We are extremely aware that no two horses are the same, therefore our process is always tailored to the horses/ponies and owners individual needs/wants.
The same goes for our competing and sales. Here at Greenhill our owners and their horses always come 1st!
We currently have four riders in our team at Greenhill
Holly has produced/competed her own as well as owners ponies/horses since she was 7yrs old and is lucky to of broken in, produced and competed for some of the biggest and best riders/owners in the world. From having broken in horses and taking them on to jump their 1st age classes and compete in their 1st dressage tests or around their 1st cross country courses. To taking older horses who have a few issues/quirks and taking them up through the levels to jump their 1st 140’s/internationals. Along with training with the best in the sport and picking up invaluable experience along the way.
Ella is our young production jockey in training. She is petite and lightweight so perfect for breaking and starting off of the smaller ponies, as well as being an asset with our bigger horses especially when it comes to sales.
As well as our adult team at Greenhill we also have our Mini Greenhill Team! The mini team is in charge of small pony production, breaking and sales. With Holly doing all ground work, lunging ect. And getting on if needed, Ella starting the ponies in their ridden careers, working with Holly to establish flat work, jumping and hacking ect. Again we are creating well rounded, happy and confident little ponies. Once established ponies are then passed onto the Mini Team made up of Felicity (6), Cordy (5) and we also have Harriet (3) coming up! Here ponies are produced like little horses while still being ridden by children.
Holly will be out at shows of all levels most weekends this year (covid allowing). So all competition liveries will be out gaining invaluable experience
All of our horses/ponies are fed on the very best feed being Cavalor and hay or haylage (depending on the individual). We have both shavings and straw available.
So we are able to accommodate everyone from 11.2h to 18h!
Prices
Sales livery (horses) £150 (ponies) £125 p/w this includes all care, feed, bedding, riding, adverts ect. We DO NOT take any commission when the horse/pony is sold
Schooling and Competition livery (horses) £150 (ponies) £125 p/w this includes all care, feed, bedding, riding and management.
Breaking livery (horses) £175 (ponies) £150 p/w this includes all care, feed, bedding, riding and all ground work. If you choose for your horse/pony to stay with us after the breaking in process is complete, you and your horse/pony will then be moved onto our Schooling/Competition livery package.
With all our livery packages all farrier, dentist, chiropractor, school hire, entry fees, vaccinations ect. Do come at additional cost to the owner.
