Advert Description

This is a fabulous steampunk/ goth/ Victorian/ Edwardian style belt, which I’ve owned for some 40-odd years (some of them VERY odd!) I bought it from an antique shop in Cheltenham, way back in the 1980s.

Fastens with a shiny, central clip-buckle, beautifully waisted and with a raised knob. Terrific detail - in between the shiny silver metal fish-scales is a background of silver-on-black sparkles, pls see photos to see what I’m trying to describe. The inside of the belt is robust, ribbed black elastic.

Super belt, and one that doesn’t need adjusting if you eat too much. Perfect condition, though I think the buckle and clasp header could do with a quick polish.

Unstretched, this measures approx 32” or 81cm. It stretches easily to 43” or 108cm - it doesn’t matter how much you stretch it, the pattern stays solid with no ugly gaps. It’s approx 1 3/4” deep, or 4.5cm.

Happy to post at cost, and I combine postage on more than one purchase, so do look through my other listings - clearing out a whole range of fabulous items that I don’t have room for. Collection also fine. We’re in between Huntingdon and Peterboro in NE Cambs.

Any questions, just ask :)

Thanks for looking at my ad, and I hope to hear from you soon :)
