Buy with confidence! I’ve been on PL for several years. I list items honestly, warts & all, & the items I sell are my own. I’m happy to post at cost, & to combine postage where possible. I use Signed For Second Class so everyone knows where they stand (have to for anything over a tenner). Parcels also don’t go missing with Signed For. I pack securely & well. Collection is also fine. Buyers welcome to arrange their own courier if preferred/ cheaper/ bulkier packages.
One very good set of West German open fronted hard shell tendon boots in excellent, slightly, lightly used condition. Fabulous boots, and very smart,
Cost a small fortune when new. Can’t remember if Estabex is actually the brand, or only the sanitising inner material. Be great if someone here recognises the brand logo!
Robust straps, terrific quick release secure Nirosta metal buckle clasps, padded (air-filled I think) lining. Pls see all photos. Zero damage, zero external signs of wear, though some standard greyness to lining. which is a lot lighter IRL. My iPad seems to think the slightest grey smudge is a black marker pen mark! Honestly lighter grey areas in the flesh.
Think these are Cob/FS, but they measure 9 3/4” from top to bottom, & having checked them on my skinnyish wrists & less skinny calves, these look fine for bone between about 8”and 11”. Centre band across front measures 6” across.
Tendon boots are a popular choice in fast work & jumping as the hard shell protects the front tendons from being struck by a hind. They also protect the back and sides of the fetlock and help support the tendons. Open fronted boots allow the horse leg to pole awareness.
Another rare pair on that auction site, for £15 more than I’m asking - grab a protective bargain!
