Another of The Oakwood Press's excellent railway histories. This South Wales railway serviced the coal mines of the Ely Valley taking trains to the GWR main line at Llantrisant and providing a passenger service as well. At the North end of the line it connected with the Taff Vale Railway in the Rhondda Valley. It succumbed to closure by the 1960s. This copy of the book is in as new condition and seems to have been barely opened which accounts for the difficulty in taking pictures of it - please excuse the intrusive fingers! No marks or inscriptions. Not ex-library. See attached images. Includes the Oakwood book mark.
