Squire Stratocaster, (probably an Affinity model judging by the slightly thinner body) suitable as a first electric guitar for someone starting out, or ideal for an upgrade / tinkering project.
The original logo had been sanded off the headstock and replaced with a not-very-well applied Fender decal (NOT by me, I hasten to add). Also, the original machine heads have been replaced at some stage, leaving some small hole marks at the back of the headstock. The pickup covers are discoloured and the scratch plate is pale greenish tinted, both things making it look like an older guitar. (Some might even call it 'vintage style'.)
There are a few dings and marks on the body, but nothing serious.
Apart from those little issues, this is a really decent guitar with a perfectly good neck and nice easy-to-play action. It has also had replacement Fender-stamped bridge saddles.
I just wish I'd had one this good for so little money when I had been learning years ago! Everything works, it sounds fine - it just looks a bit tatty. If you want a pristine guitar, however, this isn't the one for you.
Any questions, please ask. £45 or near offer. Great value for that price.
