Really sad sale of a genuine and Talented 16.3 hh 12 yr old Irish Sports Horse.
This wonderful chap is truly amazing , talented and equally straight forward with a beautiful kind nature and eager to please and very quick to learn. Very natural and scopey jump this is where his love is.
He was the lead hunts horse in previous home and as a mans horse he had a big bold jump and this was why I brought him 4 years ago but unfortunately I've never got the time, so he has been used as a hacking/ schooling horse and generally weekend riding with friends on and off for the past 3years.
I feel I am holding him back as I do not have the time, I am 5ft and I am over horsed, he has issues with his bridle .. He takes the bit fine it's always been round his ears/ poll area this can take time to get it on and with me being so short and the fact he has been out of work he just lifts his head and I can't reach even standing on something, I just don't have the patience any more as I don't have a lot of time i end up giving up and putting him back out.
He deserves more to be out and about competing, long distance rides not just every now and then hence why he's for sale.
I love this boy to bits but hand on heart he is a pampered pet and deserves more.
As you can see he is a solid big lad, good doer has good bone and would be and excellant heavy hunter. Very light in his mouth to ride although he is lazy in the school and can try it on as he cant be bothered now, he's best suited to someone experienced due to his size and the fact he does and will test you.
Has bucked and reared previously when pushed but he never used to. He just can't be bothered as he's been so spoilt and let to get away with things as he's so stubborn and I don't have the patience.
Manners to die for on the ground and a genuine lovely boy.
Up to date with teeth/ back/ worming.
Will need injections.
Shod on front but has been fully shod.
Does clip but does need sedating same as in previous home.
Has been ridden a handfull of times this past year.
19/4/16 i took him out the field and had a lesson on him which was good I have a video of my instructor riding him I was to continue but again this stopped also.
