I have 2 adult Axolotls approx 3-4 years old (6 inches+),one pink with black eyes (leucistic) one black (melanoid).
I think the black is male and pink female but not sure.
They both hand feed earthworms, black one is not shy at all but pink is and needs bit more patience but both will take 2-4 large dendrobena worms each feeding.
Both in perfect health except recently the pink nearly lost front foot when on its holidays in an unfarmiliar Axolotl tank,It has healed but doesnt look perfect.
Please bring a bucket or something to carry them home in :)
