My wife is selling her car (4x4) which she has owned for approximately 7 years and is HPI clear.
The Land-Rover has road tax (although not transferable) and a current M.o.T. without any advisories and is located in Selsey, West Sussex.
The car is in excellent condition for its age, being first registered in 2003 and it has only two bad points of which we are aware, the first bad point is that the sunroof operates / works sporadically, basically it sometimes opens however quite often it fails to close shut; the sunroof mechanism doesn’t sound healthy and makes horrible crunching sound.
My wife has used the car daily and managed to stay cool easily during the summer and hot weather due to all 5 windows (including the rear window) working and fully functioning and she has also used the air conditioning and thus negated the need to use the sunroof.
The second bad point is the although the car has central locking to all doors, the drivers door occasionally does not unlock by the remote control fob and has to be opened by key.
The car is shod with BF Goodrich – All Terrain tyres which has slightly increased the ground clearance. These tyres are a 50% road and 50% off-road (mud and snow).
Also available by separate negotiation are another set of 5x Land-Rover Freelander alloy wheels with almost new Michelin tyres which cost about £265 each!!
The black leather and suede seats are all in excellent condition, the rear seats fold up and roll forward and divide in to a 60% / 40% so you are able to have 1, 2 or 3 back seat passengers.
All the rear seats are folded and rolled forward, the space in the back is quite cavernous.
The car has a factory fitted alarm and immobiliser and there is a working CD changer under the drivers seat which holds 6 CDs.
There are various bills and receipts, manuals, some service history, spare winter windscreen wipers which are new and still packaged.
The car always starts first time, every time, does not burn oil whatsoever and is a sound and solid vehicle which drives really well, especially in poor winter weather due to having the benefit of the 4 wheel drive and Hill Descent operation.
There maybe some new oil (leftover in a plastic container) which has been unused since oil and filter changes which the new owner is welcome to have.
The mileage is a genuine 128,507 and the specifications are as follows:-
Model: Freelander Kalahari Td4
Engine Capacity: 2.0 Litre (BMW engine)
Gearbox: 5 Speed Manual
Seats: 5 all with seat belts.
