From her foster mum
Poor Tabitha is still here waiting for her forever home. She is approx 2 years old and a small/medium sized crossbreed. (Cocker spaniel sized) She's come a long way in foster from the nervous wreck we couldn't even touch. She's now a bright affectionate little individual who's very vocal and sassy.
Tabitha gets on well with all the dogs here, big and old, young and small. She's very playful and enjoys the company of others. However, I do believe she was attacked prior to coming into rescue so can be weary of new dogs so gentle introductions will be needed. Her ideal companion would be a well rounded social dog. Once she understands they aren't going to hurt her she's absolutely fine but can lash out in the early stages.
Tabitha can be around dog savvy cats but absolutely cannot be around cats who give chase easily. It has taken a lot of training for her to be around mine and she's doing well but this will require continued training and supervision (with adequate separation when not being supervised) to ensure hers and the cats safety.
Tabitha is still quite nervous with loud noises and quick handling due to the abuse in her past. Although she has shown absolutely no aggression I think she would have the best chance of success with older children 12+.
Tabitha is crate trained and housebroken.
She is neutered/vaccinated/microchipped and subject to a homecheck and adoption fee.
