Tom is a 13.1hh chestnut welsh section c, he is 7 years old.
He is my pride and joy but due to a car accident I have got to put him up for loan, as I have been told I am not to ride for at least 9 months.
Tom is a very good pony, he doesn't bolt, rear or buck, he does get spooky when he isn't ridden, so he would need to be in regular work, hence why I need him to go on loan. He is too good to be left for 9 months. He does need a rider that gives him confidence due to his age but no one that is too firm as he only needs gentle persuasion, he can jump but again can get a little spooky going in to jumps so would need a confident rider. He does have a splint but this generally doesn't cause any problems of he is ridden with boots
at all times .
I am 32 and weigh 7.5 stone so a lightweight adult or gung ho child's pony.
He would have to stay at present yard for a 1-2 month trial period to make sure he gets on with his new loan owner, but after that can be moved within northamptonshire, while at the present yard I would ask for 15.00 per week I would pay the rest towards his upkeep and rent. Once moved you would take on all costs , farrier, rent, vets etc
. Tom is genuinely a lovely gentle pony with such a big heart.
