1989 Land Rover 90 Truck Cab with Ifor Williams cover
This has been properly converted to a Defender 200 Tdi engine, which is in good condition, starts first time every time and runs well.
Fitted with 24-spline Discovery axles with new brake discs and EBC Green Stuff Pads. Suspension is a 2-inch Scorpion Racing lift kit with Pro-Comp shock absorbers and Dan Bar steering linkages. Rock sliders fitted which are also in good condition and corrosion-free. Brand-new exhaust with middle and rear silencer boxes fitted July 2016.
Full MOT with no advisories, valid until July 2017. Previous MOT certificates available.
The chassis has 151,000 miles but the engine, gearbox and axles have less.
Fitted with Range Rover Classic seats so it’s a bit more comfortable than standard. The centre seat has been replaced with a lockable metal cubby box with three cup holders.
It has mud terrain tyres all around. The chassis, body, tub, rear member and bulkhead are all rust-free. There is no checker-plating other than on the bonnet so no hidden corrosion there either. The only damage (other than typical Land Rover dings) is minor car park damage on the left rear quarter which is pictured. It has cracked and removed some of the black paint here but is not significant damage and, being aluminium, it hasn’t corroded. You could checker plate or re-spray if you wanted but it’s by no means a necessity.
Tow bar and towing electrics are fitted and work and the tow bar shows no wear. All lights and electrics work and the headlights have had new adjusters fitted for the latest MOT. All fuses were also replaced for good measure prior to MOT.
It also has a Ifor Williams pick up cover, which is in good condition with a lifting rear tailgate.
This is a solid Land Rover in great condition for its age and would be perfect on or off road. Please contact me for more details.
