I am selling my well treated Canon 5d Mark iii.
I am a part time interior photographer, so the camera has been used mainly indoors and on a tripod. I have shot the odd video sometimes, but I have never used much that feature.
The body is nearly free of marks or scratches. Please see the pictures to check yourself: the most noticeable, one tiny mark near the AF area selection button, light scratches on the bottom and very light marks from the tripod.
The LCD on the top has light scratches, so does the one on the back. These from the rear LCD are only visible when screen is off. Once on, they are completely invisible and don’t affect the picture playback at all.
Anyway, they are under the glass protector I got a few months back. (I know, I should have bought it before. It will go with the camera)
Shutter count is around 45.000. I will check exactly for you if interested. Plenty of life ahead.
The camera has never missed a shot. EVERYTHING works at it should.
I must say for those out there pixel-obsessed(I know there are many), the camera sensor has something that shows as a really tiny dark dot on the picture, on the right side, near the upper corner of the frame. It has been always there, always same tiny (realised just after the first sensor cleaning) and I never gave it importance since it is very easy to correct with photoshop. Again: is tiny. And when I say it is dark, well it is, but depending on the background color, it can be from magenta-ish to brown-ish. This only you can see it if zooming in. In normal view, it is that small that always appear as a black dot.
By the way, sensor needs to be clean if f11 onwards is used.
All accessories included but no strap. I can give you another a Minolta one if needed (Better strap, not that fancy, I guess). Original box.
Also, it can go with a canon 17-35 f2.8 zoom. The lens is cosmetically in really good condition. It has only a couple of marks on the hood thread (due obviously to the hood itself when attached to the lens).
Mechanically, lens is in very good condition. Zoom ring moves smoothly, so does manual focus one. AF/MF switch works as expected. “L” canon quality, if you know what I mean.
Optically, is also in very good condition. Not scratches in front or rear glass. UV filter had been attached at the front since new.
Hood has a few light marks as you can see in the pictures. the front cap shows a mark too.
Price for the camera body is £1100. Its nothing for this camera: it never missed a shot and it was really well treated!!
Just that low because that tiny spot on the images. :(
It must go!! I fell in love with Mark IV!!
Camera and lens together are £1400.
If you just want the lens, that would be £350.
Only collection in North London so you can see and use.
Please send an email if you want to know more. I will upload more pics if needed.
thanks for looking
