13.2hh, 7 years old, black & white striking cob mare, real chunky type. She's a lovely nature. Currently growing out a hog cut but I've included pictures of how gorgeous her mane can look for you people that love grooming for hours.
Ride and drive but hasn't driven since she came to us. Been used in the school but can be lazy, thou rode and lunged over trotting poles & not fazed. Hasn't done a lot of canter work. Rides out on her own but prefers company (horse or with someone on foot is fine) otherwise she will go by herself with a confident rider.
She does need more education she hasn't a bad bone in her she is a quick learner. Not bothered by road signs or livestock she can be inquisitive when hacking. Been in open fields & not put a foot wrong. She saw a quad bike reasantly that passed her quickly and she wasn't bothered. She is quite strong & needs a firm but fare hand as she isn't a light weight. She does respect her bit, has good breaks & responds well.
She's an easy doer & built like a tank, a true weight carrier type. Great with children sat on her back or on the ground around her, she also isn't bothered by dogs.
Easy to catch, lead, picks feet up and good with farrier and dentist (up to date on all). Genuine mare, hard decision to make as to strong for my mother who is getting on & has severe arthritis. It's heart wrenching but we feel she is being wasted.
Please no timewasters or joyriders.
