I am potentially looking for another sharer to join my lovely little team of riders and to help with my horses. Generally, we all muck in with the jobs and then we hack out together. We are a small, friendly team and I think all my riders would agree that we have a lot of fun. We have lots of exciting things planned for next year, including getting out some (low-level) shows, which obviously the right person would be welcome to be part of.
I'm looking for an adult (timings won't fit around a teenager still at college / school) who has some weekday availability - ideally on a Tuesday / Wednesday, or both, though there may be options to add ad-hoc extra days some weeks. You will also ideally be a driver and must be able to ride already and have some experience of caring for and looking after horses and be able to do basic things such as tack up correctly, put on and remove rugs and head-collars etc. Definitely no beginners or novices, please! (Though rusty returners are welcome!).
The maximum weight limit is 12 stone, though depending on exact weight and ability, there may be up to 3 horses available to the sharer to ride, or they may be allocated the one which is the 'best fit'.
I'm essentially looking for someone who can be completely flexible with times on the agreed day(s) and is also willing / able to make a financial contribution of £10 weekly (payable in 4-weekly installments). But most importantly, should be absolutely reliable and able to commit to one (or more) days per week and be happy to become one of the team, muck in and help with jobs, and have a general love and empathy for horses and be happy to get to know and lend a hand with all of them.
If you are interested and feel you can make at least a once-weekly commitment, please message me in the first instance with details of your experience with horses and your availability.
