Gutted to be selling my lovely 7.5 Iveco horsebox, but I'm 21 and can't drive it legally (and struggling to afford it) so looking for a 3.5. Happy to sell mine or to do a swap. I'll get some photos over the weekend
Any questions please ask.. i'm not very good with mechanical stuff so here's what I think you need to know:
-7.5 blue iveco
-large cut through, short wheel base.
-Stalled for 3 (and can actually take 3 small horses as enough playload) or 2 large horses
Unladen weight was 6 tonne before I took kitchen out
-camera to the horse area so you can watch them :)
It was a council truck before and serviced every 6months- the engine is spot on & has turbo. Never struggles on hills etc
I've also had it serviced regularly
Small living as short wheel base
I have taken the sink/cooker out to make it lighter and as it was never used
Tilt cab which I can easily do myself
Has Luton which my dad often sleeps in so must be comfy!
Outside (but into the living-not horse area) locker with storage for saddles and bridles so you don't have to carry them up the steps.
Lights in living / horse area
Tie rings outside
I can manage the ramp etc on my own.
The ramp and horse area is all rubber, and the partitions are padded
It's pretty good on fuel!!
I sent it for a pre-mot inspection to make sure it'd pass and it needed new brakes. I've since changed these (which cost £1k) and my dad has also just changed ALL the bushes (which cost over £500 too). The mechanic said it looked fab for its age
It recently had new tyres and its never let me down. As I can't drive it myself I've had my dad and also friends drive it (all ladies) and have managed fine.
Was hoping for around £5000 or swap (possible part exchange either way)
Any questions please ask and I will answer best I can- or put you through to my dad/the mechanic that has worked on it.
