I'm finally looking for a new forever friend on loan......
Unfortunately I don't have the finances to purchase a horse right now (as I've just spent an obscene amount of money on some land!)
My future friend will be kept with some sheep, a piggy or two and more likely than not a goat! So the ideal friend will be happy to share his or her field with the sheep and goat.
So if you have a horse who maybe doesn't like to share their space with another horse it would be ideal.
They will need to be able to live out all year (with a field shelter and lots of natural shelter too).
My biggest requirement is that they are as safe on the roads as is possible and like a good fuss!
I'm in no way a novice rider/owner, but now I'm not as young as I once was I'm looking for something a lot quieter and calmer - purely for hacking out.
I don't mind an older horse, as long as they're in good health - but I'm no longer looking for a young/quirky etc type.
I'd say a minimum of 15 he (due to my lanky legs) and I've owned and ridden 18hh ......as for breed I really don't mind, I've had TB's to Clydesdale and everything in between over my many years riding. Geldings are my preferred gender, but I wouldn't ignore a mare if they were a happy friendly sort. I have owned and loaned horses since I was 14.....now a lot older!!
To be kept in between kings Lynn and Wisbech, Cambs.
