We are selling our beloved caravan which we affectionately call "Betty Blue".

Betty has a wonderful mix of retro charm alongside some modern creature comforts. She also has a good selection of contents included in the sale (ideal for a holiday-let or for a quick set-up), if the buyer wishes. Viewing is highly recommended.

Betty is still being improved & worked on on a daily basis- please await new photos to get a more realistic idea of her current state, or come and visit!

THIS IS AN OFF SITE SALE AND IS NOT CURRENTLY ON A PARK!!!

At 35 foot long and 12 foot wide with the 2 bedroom option, Betty feels surprisingly spacious and has great natural light.

Betty would be ideal for temporary accommodation, farm worker accommodation, or just as an extension to your property for grown up children who are struggling to find affordable accommodation.

We also think Betty would be ideal as a private holiday let, through Air B&B or suchlike.



This static caravan would also be great for a self-build or renovation project- Betty costs less than renting a house for a year, and unlike renting which is dead money, at the end of the year (or home self-build project) you still have the caravan as an asset or to sell!

All fixtures and fittings can be included if buyer wishes.

IMPORTANT: Please wait for updated photos or come to see the caravan in person for an accurate idea of what is included as it has changed since some of these photos were taken.

LOUNGE: There is a large open-area lounge (12 foot wide!) with a large corner sofa which, whilst not a sofa bed, is comfy to sleep on.

There is a gas fire with surround and a large TV (NB we cannot currently find the remote but would work with a universal remote) with aerial and socket points, as well as USB charging points, cube storage unit with books, and a coffee table.

Contents such as wall canvasses, books, vases, board games and CDs can be left if buyer wishes.



There is a pull-across curtain to divide the lounge and kitchen area. This is also useful for extra privacy if a guest is sleeping in the lounge. The lounge also contains a second entrance door.



DINING AREA: The dining area has a rectangular table and four chairs, a wall mounted corner unit and a mirror. We are fitting a new vinyl floor in the kitchen and dining area, although we have not done this yet. Please ask for more info. Again, contents such as fruit bowl, vases etc can be left if wished.



KITCHEN: There is an attractive, fully fitted kitchen with ample cupboard and work top space, oven and grill with four burner hob, Kenwood combination microwave, sink and drainer with mixer tap. The kitchen will also come with either an under-counter fridge or a full-size fridge freezer, but NOT the washing machine in the picture.

Also includes kettle, tree mug, kitchen roll holder, utensils, glasses and some other kitchen bits.

BEDROOM ONE: This is the smaller single bedroom, which could possibly fit small bunk beds in. There is a metal single bed in this room, and a new cream carpet is being fitted.

BATHROOM: The bathroom is a soft peach colour and offers good natural light. There is a hand basin with a vanity unit, mirror and loo. There is also an enclosed shower cubicle. The shower tray is a little scratched and there are some dark markings around the corner of the door- the new buyer may wish to purchase a tray liner to cover these blemishes. The shower has a modern shower head. The bathroom has 2 lockable doors so that it can be used as a family bathroom, or as an en-suite to the master bedroom.

BEDROOM TWO (MASTER): The master bedroom is spacious and contains a comfortable king size bed with headboard, built in over-bed storage including wardrobes, reading lights, socket point, vanity/dressing table with mirror, drawers and cupboard and a door to the main bathroom, which allows the bathroom to be used as an en-suite with the secondary bathroom locked. There is some damage to the wall panel above the bed- this could be filled with filler and painted, or could simply be covered with a canvas, photo frame or headboard.

Betty is a used caravan and is no longer a 'spring chicken'. As to be expected, there is some wear & tear to carpets, taps etc. The hall and living room carpet have some damage which can be covered with rugs and furniture, or the new buyer may wish to replace the floor coverings. There are some scratches, photo frame holes etc to walls. We wish to be painfully honest about all Betty's flaws to give the new buyer an accurate picture of what she is like and what to expect. These flaws may read worse on paper than they actually appear in the flesh! We think she is a gorgeous old girl despite her lumps and bumps (although we may be biased!)

On the whole, I would still say she is in a very good used condition and buyers are welcome to come and view her in the flesh to check out little imperfections.

There are net curtains on most of the windows to help with privacy.

High quality, thick curtains have been fitted for the doors and bedrooms. Custom pelmets and tie-backs have been ordered and should be in soon.

PLEASE NOTE Betty Blue has had some work to her since the photos were taken- the photos can give you an idea of the layout, new ones of the actual contents and caravan as it currently is will be added soon.

We are continuing to work on Betty to make her as good as possible for a new owner- curtains, vinyl, flooring improvements still ongoing- just keen to get Betty listed ASAP in case her new owner is proactively looking now.

Viewing is highly recommended.

We are happy to include some oil heaters which can be plugged or wired in to help get cosy in colder weather.

There are no known leaks, everything works as it should do, to the best of our knowledge.

A caravan repair company has given the roof a once over and says it looks to be in sound condition. We have not known any leaks- tell-tale signs normally appear near light fittings, of which we can confirm there have not been any during our period of owning her and we have had some heavy thunderstorms recently.

Gas water heater, oven, hob and fire in the living room where all checked when we bought it, all should still work well.

The new buyer would need to arrange haulage to take it to its new destination. Betty is currently roadside and ready to go in a position that is accessible even to a large artic lorry. The caravan is located just outside Framlingham, IP13, Suffolk.
