Mitsubishi L200 4WD pickup truck and demountable camper
The Mitsubishi L200 truck has a Walker Suntrekker 2 berth camper unit mounted on its load area and bolted on. It is possible to use the removable legs to wind up the unit and transfer it to another truck when necessary or to leave the unit in your driveway and use just the truck with its large carrying capacity. There is none of the heavy wear and damage usually found in used pickup truck cabs and bodywork. Demountable camper unit Make/model: Walker Suntrekker Externally: good condition for year Internally: 2 berth Full standing headroom. Table and ample upholstered seating. Seating converts to double bed. An alternative double bed is in the ?Luton? compartment, which is over the truck cab. Four legs to support the corners when demounted. Sink with electric water pump to tap. Wardrobe, storage cupboards and lockers. Awning rail at rear. Opening skylight. Stable door with separately opening top half. Not a luxurious motor caravan but simple and basic accommodation for two adults. Overall the accommodation is in reasonably good condition for its age. We had intended to improve the camper but do not now have time to do the work or arrange for reinstalling the gas supply so have decided to sell it. Some work by suitably qualified people is needed on the gas supply to the cooker and refrigerator and to the 12 volt electricity supply in the demountable camper unit. Gas is not connected and work must be carried out by someone who can ensure safe operation. These points have been made to be honest about the camper and to avoid wasting the time of anyone interested. They have been allowed for in arriving at the price. The above points should not detract from the overall benefits and value of a camper of this type. The truck is in remarkably good condition and its selectable four wheel drive is great for getting into the wild and staying in remote places, farm campsites, wet grassland, moorland, mountain areas, semi desert, etc. Accommodation could easily be improved and upgraded if required and adding a free standing tent or awning could increase storage/extra space on site.
