**TWO Peugeot 405 estates - spares / repairs - project?**
These cars are spares / repair, would suit someone with space and time to sort them out !
I shall describe the cars seperatly - to save confusion. Peugeot 405 1.9 TURBO diesel estate in silver: - L reg (1994) - 1.9 Turbo Diesel Engine - EXECUTIVE model, this includes electric mirrors, electric sunroof, electric seats (all directions) executive trim on doors, by glovebox and gear stick top, storage box and arm rest in middle of driver seat and passenger seat. This car was replaced April 08 when the auxilary belt snapped. Never had a problem with her until the belt snapped, she had even pulled a caravan month before she died on us. We all know that Peugeot's are work horses and they last years, this is a prime example of such case - shes been a good car to us and our plan was to use the spares off the other to fix her and put her back on the road again - especially as she is the exec model, too good to break in our views. MOT - MARCH 2009 TAX - She is currently off road, therfor is SORN. GOOD POINTS: - Hard working, and every economical on feul, - comfortable to drive and comfortable to be passenger in. The electric seats / windows / mirrors / sunroof is definatly the life i like - to go forward, backwards up and down with the touch of a button - heaven! (Think im just born lazy..) - Interior good and clean, no rips or tears in seats. - Central Locking - TOW BAR BAD POINTS: -Sunroof has leaked in past, may need new seal. -parcel shelf hooks broken (still works) but may need attention - obviously the auxilary belt snapped --------------------------------- Peugeot 405 1.9 Diesel Estate in Blue: - M reg (1995) - 1.9 Diesel Engine - Bought as working emergency replacement (son was due to have operation) then to transfer spares onto silver 405. She was purchased as an emergency replacement for transport to work / hospital as we live in the sticks bus's are rare and transport to work and hospital would of been a nightmare. Also bought to eventually transfer all the spares from this car to the silver model, but due to lack of outside space and time this cannot be done unfortunatly. This car was working fine - until Monday July. The clutch appears to be at fault. She will not go into gear easily - may need a new clutch to fix her. Also she will not turn off via key, this is a new problem arose a week before clutch went. You have to stop her engine via the stop lever under bonnet. (Electrical fault - or feul pump cut off?) MOT - MARCH 2009 TAX - SORN. (Off Road) GOOD POINTS: - 1.9 Diesel engine, very economical - Was only really just MOT'd so this isnt due for months.. - Tow bar BAD POINTS: - outside bodywork tatty given paint job previous owners did - Exhaust blowing - Inside roof lining damaged, again due to previous owners Both car's will need a trailer to take them to their new home, The blue one could be towed - but the silver one i expect brakes have siezed by now, therfor definatly needs trailer. Both cars need to be removed as soon as possible due to needing the space back. Extra photo's available on request as is answers to any questions about these cars you may have. Any questions can be asked via email - mrs_springer[at]live[dot]co[dot]uk
**Please note the amount wanted is what we could get in scrap metal value**
