Xr2 Engined Trike
The time has come to reluctantly say goodbye to a good friend. The best handling trike I have ever ridden must go on to pastures new.
Originally built in 1996 it was featured in Back Street Heroes and won best trike at three shows in the next two years.
Ok a little information about the beast,
* Front mounted fiesta engine suspension and gearbox * Hand throttle * Right foot pedal operates all three brakes * Left foot pedal operates the clutch * Conventional car gear shift - 5 speed and reverse * Rear suspension single sided swing arm with twin top mounted shocks * Hand brake operates on rear wheel * No need for a helmet ! * Bike tax * Cheap to insure- about £150 fully comp * New discs and pads * New plugs, leads, rotor, thermostat, filters a couple of months ago * Recently overhauled twin choke webber carb
I would advise coming to view if at all possible so you know exactly what you are getting, it isnt the prettiest thing in the world, looking like a cross between "Brum" and one of the losers on Scrap Heap Challenge!! Its tatty and battered but it was never built to be pretty and it gets loads of attention wherever it goes.
Bad bits- No choke so can be a little temperamental on a cold morning, but it has never let me down, lumpy on tickover but nothing that a tune wouldnt cure.
