Large number of Music mags (NME etc.) '85 - '92
I'm having a clearout of my collection of music magazines. What I have is as follows:
NME: * '86 - complete year '87 - not many - I'm sure I must have an overlooked box somewhere! ** '88 - nearly complete (missing 1 issue) ** '89 - nearly complete (missing 3 issues) ** '90 - nearly complete (missing June 16th & August 4th) - but 9 issues have posters * '91 - complete year - 6 issues have posters ** '92 - nearly complete (missing last issue of the year) - two issues have unopened booklets, and 1 issue has a poster.
Melody Maker: '85 - 3 issues '87 - 3 issues '88 - 2 issues '89 - 4 (including Smiths booklet) '90 - 14; incl. 2 booklets (Happy Mondays; Stone Roses) ** '91 - nearly complete (missing 2); 4 posters; 3 booklets (Wonderstuff, James, Guns & Roses) ** '92 - nearly complete (missing 2); 2 posters (Nirvana, Happy Mondays); 4 booklets (Nirvana, Shamen, Carter USM, Primal Scream)
Sounds: '88 - '90 - 43 issues
The magazines have been stored completely flat in a dry environment and, apart from some understandable 'browning' to the paper, are in pretty fantastic condition.
Why am I now selling them? I've run out of space in the room where they were stored!
Prices are negotiable; but I was thinking of something like 50 for a complete year (marked as *) and 40 for an incomplete year (marked as **). The odds and ends would count as incomplete years.
Or somewhere around 200 for the whole lot - alternatively, just make me an offer!
