dawes galaxy tandem for sale
23"/19" (but since the handlebar bracket for the back rider clamps onto the front rider's seat post it is effectively a 24 or 25" front). Only 2 1/2 yrs old barely used. Bought new December 2006. These tandems were £1350 at the time we bought this one but are considerably more now.
It has a triple chainset (27 gears) which makes it very easy to ride even where there are hills. It has bar end shifters so you can change gear without taking hands off the handlebars.
The tubing is large diameter aluminium and the tandem is remarkably light and stiff.
This tandem has done less than 200 miles since we bought it new due to a knee problem and baby.
Buyer must collect. The tandem is near Alnwick, Morpeth, Northumberland.
